Moveable Feast is a non-profit organization that delivers meals to the families of those who are on hospice and are confined to their home due to terminal illness. A multitude of destitute families are fed every week through Moveable Feast. The purpose of this blog is to convey our individual service-learning experiences at Moveable Feast Lexington. It seems like you are really enjoying your time there so far! I liked the humor at the beginning of the video! You said it was difficult to go on Fridays at first. Do you still feel that way? What is motivating you to keep going back?
No it is not this way anymore. Now I know that going to Moveable Feast is not a "waste of time" and therefore I don't find it difficult to spend my Friday doing this. I really like seeing the looks on people's faces when they receive their meals. I also like knowing that I can be the person that makes their day just a little bit better. These things are what keep me going back.
